Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A very convenient place to stay if you just want to be yourself. We were traveling as two senior couples and self catering in the evenings suited us best. Don’t expect to make a Michelin star meal, but the kitchenette will do for quick and easy food. The staff let us eat together in the breakfast dining area which was really big of them. Their happiness and easy going attitude really made our stay feel cosy.

Negative: If I had to be critical, I would mention two things, one the hotel can rectify (please put some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and clothes on - if you hang a wet towel on the radiator it can make the toilet roll damp) and secondly …. the one the hotel can’t change …. the rooms could be a bit bigger, with an arm chair because we never found out how to fold the bed away.

Summary: The Carmargue and Provence in September were made all the more lovely by friendly, welcoming staff.
