Summary: A stopover in Avignon and what a magnificent discovery with its charming old town dominated by such an immense and important historic relic of the Palais des Papes, all the more pleasant to explore in this in-between-tourist-inflows season with its so beautiful weather! And especially staying in this gem of an elegant ground floor apartment with a private terrace overlooking a very flowery and quiet garden - a perfect place to relax after a day's program and to reflect upon... I leave you to choose. The inn is part of a former Augustinian monastery and has quite a unique intimate feel which you come across rarely while travelling. Sitting in the garden - you almost feel the soul and spirit of this 13th-century sanctuary. A recommendation not to miss! Special thanks to Patrick for his warmest and kindest care, tips and recommendations! My only regret is not staying longer.
