Summary: This is located in Old Lyon and is in one of the famous traboules dating back to medieval times. It is 7 stories up from the main street with very old and narrow stairways. The views are fantastic, but the apartment deserves some repair. The pictures shown are outdated, and not representative. This is obviously the very personal home of the owners - much of their belongings were shoved in drawers / closets. The kitchen appliances were not clean. The garden area needs weeding / clean up. We feel bad not providing an excellent review for Lyon is an incredible city with much to offer. The host and her son did attempt to be accommodating. We unfortunately would not stay again and would not recommend for families. Perhaps a group of 20-30 yr olds would find this more suitable.
