Summary: A rustic property in the quaint village of Longpont, this hotel felt a little like one of those “Restaurants with rooms” concepts that are springing up now, in that everything revolves around the restaurant, more or less. And that’s no bad thing, as the restaurant serves excellent dinners on it’s lovely outdoor terrace (with inside dining too if the weather is bad) The room was cosy and functional if a littlest basic feeling, and despite the rural. setting had the best wifi of the past dozen hotels I’ve stayed in! 🙂 A warm personal welcome from the owner and very friendly and helpful staff added to the charm of the place. If you’re traveling with a ton of luggage, beware as there’s no elevator/lift though they will certainly help you with your bags.
