Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The self contained area where we were staying was comfortable and had good facilities. Beautiful garden area. We arrived a bit early and were very grateful to be given access.

Negative: It would have been better to be able to control our own air conditioning. The host controlled it from his house and on request asked for it at about 9 pm. However we needed it turning off in the night but thought it inappropriate to ask at the time so just had to close the door to it. 🤷‍♀️. Also quite abruptly told us to go no where near the pool. It wasn’t advised with a pool so wasn’t expecting. (We stayed at a property with a similar situation but the pool was sectioned off appropriately, and wasn’t in full view. ) Here it was a viewing point for us to see and would have been refreshing in the heatwave. Never before have we stayed anywhere and paid for towels. We did see this before our stay and assumed it was for beach towels. On our misunderstanding he gave us one for free. So we had to share at a towel. Good we only stayed for one night !
