Summary: We are from the US and wanted to escape the madness of Christmas materialism. LaFlotte was the perfect place for us. Surrounded by nature with views of the mountains and only a short distance to friendly local shops with delicious products from farms and vineyards. Nicole is an extraordinary host she made sure we had everything we needed and gave us valuable recommendations . We have vacationed in France for about 15 years and this stay was the most enjoyable. The house, setting, weather, host and local people made our time there splendid. We did not want to depart and are planning our return.
